Hi Brad,
I'm so happy I found this site! I really love this Jessica Alba workout and am thinking about adding it into my weekly workout but I have a few questions first...I am 19 years old, 5 foot 7 inches and weigh about 165 and my body fat percent is about 37% ( I know-disgusting). But I have been working out 3 days a week doing weight training for 30 minutes and doing interval cardio (walk fast 3 minutes and sprint for 1 minute) for 25 minutes for almost a month now and have only lost 4 pounds and no body fat! I've been eating soooo healthy I have 2 hardboiled eggs on a piece of wheat toast in the morning then 2 or so hours later i have an apple or greek yogurt and bblueberries then for lunch i have a salad with one can of tuna(100 calories) some tomatoes and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese then another small snack like a protein shake or something and for dinner i have veggies with 4oz grilled chicken. Also I know weight loss is supposed to take time but it is very frustrating for me because I feel like all of this effort has been for nothing! Also i nanny for 2 kids and am running around with them all day so it's not like when i'm not working out around i'm just sitting on the couch.....could you give me some suggestions on what i should change to speed up my weight loss???? thank you!!! :-)

I am 5'9.5 and weight 158... I started at 200 a little over 4 months ago and have been hitting the gym hard with a variety of routines... High impact Zumba (1000-1300 cal burned in an hour according to my HRM), Zumba toning, Jillian Michael's DVDs with 3-2-1 interval training, The Transfirmer DVDs with cardio and weight training as well as occasional running/ jogging sessions with weight training after. I eat around 1300 calories total a day. Things are working well... I would say I burn about 800-1300 calories 5 days a week while shooting to eat 1300 calories total (not net) daily. I want to hit around 138 give or take a little (I'll reevaluate once I get there). I do portion control more so than eating a balanced diet, but to be full on so few you have to eat pretty healthy. Obviously what I am doing is effective, but is there something that would be more so? And how do you set a good final weight goal? And what is the secret to maintaining weight loss without continuing to drop? I've never tried the balancing act that I hope to get to.

Hi, I am 5'2" and 138 pounds. I was always lean and slender until I had my son a couple of years ago and I haven't been able to get the weight off. I recently had a photo taken and officially have my first "fat picture". It was such an awakening for me. I have been training for a half marathon for six months and haven't seen any weighloss. The most I have lost is 2 pounds and then gained it right back. I admit my eating habits in the past haven't been good but I have been faithful to eating right for 3 weeks and still haven't seen any weight loss. What am I doing wrong? I scheduled a photo session with me and my family and have been trying hard to lose weight for three weeks and have only dropped 2 pounds! This is so frustrating! Now I only have 2 weeks left before the photo session, do you have any suggestions for fast weight loss to at least help lose something before the photo session in two weeks?

Hi I'm 16, 5"4 and 108lbs I've been vegan for about 2 months. I lost weight but was wondering if it will effect my growth to be vegan. I eat legumes, nuts, seeds, lots of veggies and fruits but I've lost weight in places I don't want to loose weight as well,(I'm not curvy anymore) I think Jessica albas body is perfect. Do u have any suggestions in the diet and exercise area for me because I don't think a intense workout would be good for me sense im growing and I hope to gain back my curves a little more.

Okay but I have another question how do i maintain my new weight? (Im 5'5 and at about 115 i fluctuate though i never get over 120) Like how much should I workout and what kind of workouts should I do? I eat pretty clean most of the time but I do indulge every now and then also my arms are still too flabby for my liking any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

Help me please! I am 5' 7" and I weigh 190 pounds and I am 15 years old....I don't really look obese or anything but I want to feel better and avoid following in my obese family's footsteps. I think I have natural curves but I want to make sure they stay there just like Jessica Alba. I want to be sexy but fit. I am way out of shape and don't really have a lot of muscle and I want to get looking toned and fit by December. I am kind of thinking about losing around 30 pounds? Is that an attainable goal if I work really hard? I need something that I can fit into my schedule because after I get out of school I will be working until 7 at night and I don't want to do anything to intense so that I will be able to fall asleep at night...and I will have homework..oh I also don't have a personal gym in my house, so what are some workouts that I can do in my house that will give me maximum results? Thanks.

Its so nice to hear you reassure people regarding slip ups by mentioning your own (makes you seem like one of us lowly humans haha)
I am so sick of Peppy trainers who seem to never put a foot wrong telling us "Just put it behind you and to get back on the wagon.." easy to say when you never fall off it in the first place!

Any advice would be great because i am about to go on stage in 3 weeks and want to look my best.
