Shakira’s Workout and Diet For a Toned and Curvy Body…by Brad Campbell
The first thing I think about when someone says “Shakira” is a toned body with great curves and a pair of hips that definitely don’t lie (pun intended). Someone told me Shakira sings too…go figure.
All jokes aside though, Shakira’s got a banging body that girls should be using for inspiration. If you had to pick a female celebrity’s body to model your own personal transformation after, Shakira’s toned and curvy physique would be a great choice.
Although she doesn’t give a lot of specific details when asked about her workouts, Shakira has been known to add circuit weight training, on top of all the dancing, to sculpt her famous belly-dancing figure.
To look like Shakira, you’ll want to work hard to slim down your waistline as much as possible. Remember, a knockout body is all about perception and illusion.
Granted, genetics will play a role in how your body takes shape to some extent, but to get hips like Shakira…the best thing you can do is follow a workout plan that will narrow your waist.
With a smaller and firmer stomach, your hips will naturally look curvier. Not that it’s a problem for most women, but you also want to make sure you don’t get too lean. The trick for women is to get ‘just tone enough.’
For guys, I think being lean and ripped is the only way to go, but for girls I like to see a little bit of curves. Shakira has perfected this.
Obviously, to look like a female celebrity who spends so much time dancing, you should consider enrolling in your own local dance class. Dancing is an excellent way to burn lots of calories and helps tone your body…and best of all, you don’t even realize how hard you’re working.

On top of using my advanced fat-burning workouts and spending lots of time dancing, I’d also recommend doing a variety of specific strength training exercises that will help to shape your butt, tummy and thighs to match Shakira.

Shakira’s diet is a no-brainer. Like any lean bodied female celebrity, you’ll need to keep the carbs, unhealthy fats, and alcohol to a minimum.
Save this crap for your one weekly cheat day, where you can enjoy it guilt-free and burn more fat at the same time.
As always, the bulk of your diet on all other days should be centered on lean protein sources, as many vegetables as you can handle and a select amount of fresh fruit.
