My question is what are you omiting for your fast day. Is it a water only day? Lemonade and cayenne pepper concoction day? etc. I have absolutely no problem with the cheat day but would need to know how to counteract that with the fast day.

My only question is what are you omiting on your fast day? Am I drinking nothing but water the entire day? Am I doing the lemonade cayenne pepper concoction all day? What are the guidelines for the dast day. I have absolutely no problem with the cheat day lol

Hey Brad,

Thanks heaps for all your advice, it helps heaps.
Two weeks ago i decided to make a change, over the last 2 years i had blown out from a healthy, fit and toned body weighing 180 pounds to a fat unhealthy 230 pounds.
I have lost 10 pounds over the last two weeks and my ultimate goal is to get myself back to a minimum 185 pounds.
I have yo-yo'd in weight for some time, trying to lose it only to put it back on, after being depressed over plateau's. I think this cheat day could be what i need to bust through the plateau's and meet my weight goal.

My question is, as i have only been losing for 2 weeks should i get to a minimum weight first before i add a cheat day in, or can i start straight away? I am really worried i might blow out again with a cheat day.

My diet for the last 2 weeks has been 6 meals a day consisting of lean proteins, vegetables and almonds. No Sugar, Carbs, Dairy or fats.....

Please let me know,

Kind Regards,

Andy

Hey! This information was amazing.
But, do you think a 13 year old could also do this?
Like, I usually eat healthy.
But I do feel like eating junk food at times.
Will it be okay for me to cheat once a week too?
And do I have to fast?
I weigh 73 Kg's. Sad, I know.
I'm about 5'3.

Oh yeah, and since I won't be eating the rest of the night and I'll be sleeping for a couple hours, will that make up for the try of my fast day hours?

I have read your article and thought it was fantastic. I for the first time had cheat day on Saturday and ate like crazy. I'm sure I gained weight cause my stomach looked bigger but I understand most of it was cause of the sodium causing water retention. Now today was my fast day and I drank lots if water. However near dinner time i got really hungry and ate 600 calories of food. I feel really bad and will not eat the rest if the night. My cheat day ended yesterday at 12 am so I was almost done with my 24 hr fasting. Because I ate, will I not get any results from my fasting day?

Awesome post man, really helpful. I just have a major question, i been doing the fight club workout routine n diet and have around 14% body fat now. So would having a cheat day on sunday per say based on the routine from that workout be good to lower body fat even more? Would i still eat Monday regular diet from the routine or would I require a fasting day

Hey Brad, so I'm so happy I came across this website (was wondering what Jessica Alba does to get in that shape) before I started my diet! I'm 5'4 and weigh 145 lbs :( I dnt know if that's good or not but it doesn't look good at all, I want to lose as much as I can to get into good shape! At least look like Kim K! Anyway I came across a Tuna 3 day diet which follows :
Day One
Breakfast: One cup black tea or coffee, half cup grapefruit/orange juice or any fruit juice, one slice toast smeared with peanut.
Lunch: Tuna (100-150 gms), one slice toast, one cup black coffee or tea.
Dinner: Broiled meat (100 gms), green beans, carrots (200 gms), vanilla ice cream/frozen yogurt (100 ml), one medium sized apple, one cup black coffee or tea or water.

Day Two
Breakfast: One cup black tea or coffee, one boiled egg, one slice toast, a banana.
Lunch: Tuna (200 gms), 5 saltine crackers, one cup black coffee or tea or water.
Dinner: 2 slices of beef (200 gms) or hot dogs, carrots/beets (100 gms), one banana, broccoli or cabbage (200 gms), Vanilla ice cream (50 ml), one cup black coffee or tea.

Day Three
Breakfast: One cup black tea or coffee, 5 saltine crackers, cheddar cheese (30 oz.) (a replacer for tuna), one medium sized apple.
Lunch: One egg cooked in a steep, one slice toast, one cup black coffee or tea.
Dinner: Tuna (200 gms), Carrots (100 gms), Cauliflower (100 gms), melon (100 gms), Vanilla ice cream (50 ml), one cup black coffee or tea.

Day Four-Seven
You can resume your daily diet to complete a weeks' diet plan. Alternatively continue the 3 day tuna diet menu, if you wish to. Add herbs, salt pepper, lemon, cooking spray, vinegar, soy sauce, mustard or ketchup to the foods to better the taste. Drink many glasses of water or diet soda with the 3 day diet plan. Since the plan is flexible, you can replace foods according to your convenience.

There wasn't any reviews on it but it kinda looked OK for me..now I haven't started working out yet or dieting so I need help on how to start! I'm up for any challenge (I need to fit into my dream wedding dress!) I desperately need your help..sorry for the long msg btw! Thank you.
