Hey Brad, thanks for all the help and routines, really great stuff. I'm planning on giving this a go, I feel like it would be well suited for me. I'm about 150 lbs at 5' 10'', not much fat, just lacking a bit in the muscle department, so I'm excited to get started! Before I start though, I noticed that there are no real ab workouts in this program, and I guess I just wanted to get your opinion on the matter. Will these workouts, cardio and a solid diet be enough? Thanks!

Zack, that's awesome man... love the feedback and glad to hear you're kicking butt and taking names. Yeah buddy, I'm way behind on requests for new blog posts, but it's still on the list. ;-) Keep us posted on your progress, Zack.

hey Brad this is a great workout that produces really good results!
Ive been following it while I wait for the ian somerhalder post in the next batch of celebrity workouts(soon maybe?) and i want to say to everyone reading this that this routine is really worth the time. Ive combined it with a good diet and incorporated the cheat day to minimize fat gains and im seeing significant results after just 3 weeks! This is the real deal!
thanks for all your time and effort Brad!

Hey man, do they have a standing calf raise machine? If not, do they have a smith machine squat rack? Either of these (standing calf raises) would work great. You can also put down a few plates and sit on a bench or stability ball with does on the edges of the plates...then place dumbbells upright over your knees and simulate the seated calf raise quite well. hope this helps, sorry for delay.

For a month, I'd stick to the exact workout routine and simply try to use more weight as the weeks progress. You won't get efficient and see diminished results that quickly, so keep the same exercises in the workout for the entire month.

Hey Brad,
what if we wanted to do this routine for about a month or so? Should we do the same workouts on the same day or change them up?

Hey Brad, whats up? Just started your split routine and high protein/low carb diet for the new school year! I do have a question about the seated calf raises. I don't think my school's rec center has a machine for this exercise. What would be an identical substitute for similar results?

Hey man, this would be a great workout for what you're trying to achieve. You can def throw in some swimming workouts to serve as your cardio, either after or spaced out a little ways from these weight workouts. This will help you stay lean and build muscle without adding extra fat. For groceries, focus on lean proteins like turkey, chicken, tuna, salmon, fat free cottage cheese, eggs, etc; all the veggies you can handle; an assortment of fruits, especially blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and other antioxidant-rich choices; healthy fats like olive oil, walnuts, almonds, fish; and complex carbs like plain oatmeal, brown rice, sweet potatoes. Pretty basic stuff, but it'll get the job done for sure.
