I’ve got an awesome lean body recipe for you guys.  This one’s finger licking good, believe me.  I love grilled chicken and it just so happens that chicken is one of the best foods you can possibly eat, if you’re trying to lose fat, build lean muscle or better yet, do both at the same time.  To lock in the flavor, you’ll need to let the chicken breasts marinate overnight, but it’s worth the wait.

Lean Body Meal – Finger Licking Chicken with Green Chile Sauce:

Here’s what you’ll need:

—> chicken breasts, boneless and skinlessLean Body Meal

—> ¼ cup olive oil

—> 2 limes, juice only

—> ¼ tsp oregano

—> black pepper to taste

—> ¼ cup water

—> 10 or 12 tomatillos, remove husks and chop in half

—> ½ medium onion, cut into 4 pieces

—> 2 garlic gloves, finely chopped

—> 2 jalapenos

—> 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped

—> ¼ cup fat-free sour cream

Here’s how to make it:

—> First, make the marinade by combining juice of one lime, olive oil, oregano, and black pepper.  Stir all ingredients together in a pan.

—> Then, coat each piece of chicken (make as many as you want) with the marinade you just whipped up.  Cover with foil and allow chicken breasts to marinate for 24 hours in fridge.  Flip breasts 1-2 times during that 24 hour period.

—> After 24 hours, boil water, add tomatillos and onions and allow to cook, uncovered, for about 10 minutes or until tomatillos are good and tender.

—> Place cooked onion, tomatillos, and any water that remains into a blender and blend until smooth.  Refrigerate sauce in bowl until chicken is grilled.

—> Grill up the chicken breasts until they’re good and done, then top with fat free sour cream and the refrigerated green chile sauce.

—> Eat the finger licking chicken (with green chile sauce) by itself or with grilled veggies and a small amount of brown rice, for a meal that’s lean body certified and doesn’t skimp on taste.

This one takes a little more prep time, but like I said, it tastes amazing and you’ll be glad you went to the trouble of marinating the breasts and making the green chile sauce.  A mouth watering lean body meal, for sure.  Let me know what you think when you try this recipe out…I’m sure you’ll be a fan.
