Hi, I'm doing the xtreme diet and am not having very good results. I only lost a lb and a half the first week and an inch from my waste. I didn't feel deprived from the diet. The workouts are hard but I do them even if it takes two sessions. There seems to be conflicting exercise info but I'm working out for almost 2 hours on most days so there's gotta be something right in that. I have to admit the repetitiveness that you have to do of the routines can make it all more difficult but I want to see results so I'll do it but :( only a lb and a half the first week :( This just isn't feeling right. I'm in the 2nd week on shake day, woke up early did my workout, made the oatmeal smoothie in the recipes and over 3 hours later I'm not hungry so I don't want to have that mid-morn shake. This is all such a downer. Isn't my metabolism supposed to be speeding up so I am hungry every 2/3 hours?

If you have any tips, suggestions, questions for me to help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. I mean, come on - a cheat day every 5 days - I totally want this to work for me.

I'm, 5/3 1/2, 133, 27 body fat percentage so I got it and I do want to lose it.

Hi Brad.... Just found your site and have been reading through all the info you have provided, it's been great so thanks :) Just wondering though as I am from Australia and can't get the prograde protein if there is any other substitutes I can try? I am currently using
PURE PROTEIN ISOLATE which is cross flow microfiltered and ultra filtered (whatever that means lol)
Energy 592kj
Protein 34.3g
Fat - Total 0.11g
CARBOHYDRATES
Lactose .3mg
Calcium 106mg
Sodium 83mg

would this one be ok or do I need something that has other ingredients?

and also in regards to the exercise I currently go to the gym Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri for 2 group classes (2hrs) and can't get there on the weekends with having 2 kids 6 and 3 just wondering how is this going to affect the program? Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!! Keep up the good work :)

Hi,

I was interested in checking out this diet. The only thing is I have a broken ankle so I could not do complete cardio exercises. I do exercise daily but nothing that has to do with weight bearing on my foot. So I am wondering if I would get the same results. Because if I need to I can wait to try the diet when my foot is healed.

Be careful to see where the weight is coming from! I did the cheat day followed by the fast day to try it out. The day after the fast I had lost 2 pounds which made me hopeful, but when I measured my BF% it was HIGHER than before, and even though I drank plenty of water I was slightly dehydrated. I used 2 different methods for BF%: A digital device, and the caliper method. The water difference came from the digital device. The weight I lost was water weight + muscle. Worse, even though I went back to my normal intake (2100 calories, 20% fats / 35% protein/ 45% carbs), I continued to lose muscle for the next 2 days! Body readings of my leanest body parts such as my bicep area showed decline for 2 days, while my BF% increased slightly. By the third day I had stabilized but this stunt set me back 2-3 weeks training in terms of lean-ness.
I did not even go for the 32 hour fast - I stopped at 24 hours. I'm 5'10" 182 pounds and just trying to get more lean (only 2 of the 6 packs are visible). In the cheat day I did go higher than I wanted - ended up at 3900 calories, though I never felt I was pigging out. After the cheat day, there wasn't much of a difference in my body composition.

I purchased the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet by Joel Marion in an attempt in believing it can do something for me, its been 2 weeks and I can already feel the difference in my weight my energy my mood and positive spirit. Its well worth the price with the manuals and guides provided in the package and for $30 OFF. The main thing I would recommend others to do is when you purchase it read it thoroughly, understand it and plan your diets a week ahead by writing it down to make it easy for you over the next 25 days. Any FAQ’s are available from Joel and other users all over the internet.

Hi Mark, no I would NOT recommend this to anyone with diabetes. It's very extreme as the title implies, and I'd really only encourage those without existing medical conditions to give it a shot. No all-out cheat days (or fast days) for you... but that's okay... you can still have great success.
