Easy Weight Loss For Men — Is There Such A Thing?  By James Villepigue

easy weight loss for menWhen it comes to weight loss strategies that are geared toward men, there are plenty of get fit quick schemes being offered “out there”.  The fact of the matter, men, is that there is no easy way out.

If you’re looking for easy weight loss programs, you may achieve some short term weight loss, but the fact of the matter is this: most of the weight loss will not be the type of weight that you’ll want to lose…

I’m talking water weight, weight loss from your vital organs and bone and from one of the first places, due to its enriched properties — your valuable lean muscle tissue.

What do you suppose you would look like with a weight loss program that’s helping you lose these forms of weight?   If anything, you’ll be a smaller version of what you were… what I call a skinny fat person!

What man wants to be thought of as a skinny fat guy?!  I’m not being cruel here guys, I’m just being honest.

When a man wants to lose weight, if anything, he’s hoping that there is a decent amount of lean muscle tissue beyond the blubber.  I refer to this as “buried treasure”.

Here’s the problem, your body is attacking your muscle first, as you’re working away on one of the latest workout plans for weight loss for men — one that has little or no weight training and a diet that starves your lean muscle tissue.  Once you excavate through the layer of fat, the muscle is now non-existent, as your diet and poor workout routine actually helped you to lose it!

The way to solve this ongoing problem is by first following a diet plan that at least preserves the lean muscle you already have.  You may not desire to build muscle, but you certainly do not want to lose what you’ve got…

And guys, here’s a pet peeve of mine that we need to get out of the way: If you’re the type of man who believes that he’s already got too much muscle and you gauge this alleged fact by looking in the mirror and simply assuming that it can’t all be fat and that most of it is muscle, you’re most likely wrong.

It may not look like all fat, but it’s much more likely to be fat than muscle.  Most people are under the impression that muscles give you a bulky look.   This may be true for a bodybuilder, who’s focused on packing on max muscle, but for the average and even above average male, muscles do not look bulky.

It’s fat that gives you that boxy and bulked look. If anything, muscle is carved out – think of it as a shrink wrapping to the body.

The muscles will hug the contours of your shape, where as the fat will just fill in space and provide less shape.  When you are low in body fat, you allow the contoured muscle to shine through and this gentlemen, is what you want from a weight loss plan… fat Loss, not muscle loss!

You can achieve this by choosing a weight loss plan that makes total sense.   It should contain a healthy balance of proteins, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats.

It should also offer sample snack and meal menus/plans.  One of the most important pieces to any worthy weight loss for men program is a solid fitness plan.

If your weight loss plan is missing this, it’s likely missing a whole lot!  A fitness plan will provide you with fat loss and muscle preserving workouts that will simply put your weight loss goals on the expedited track.

Finally, just remember – easy weight loss for men does NOT exist.  Once you come to terms with that, it gets much “easier” (but still not easy)…
