Lose Weight Fast With This Bodyweight 500 Workout Routine… by Brad Campbell
I love simple, challenge-type workouts. It’s funny how as soon as you incorporate even the slightest bit of competition into your workout routine — even if it’s only competing against your previous personal best — you seem to really dig deeper and push harder.
Not only that, but challenge workouts are a great way to gauge your progress as you bulldoze your way through your weight loss program.
It’s funny cause everyone is so concerned about what the scale is showing… but to be honest, you could throw the scale, the tape measure, the body fat monitor (all of it) out the window and use one thing and one thing only to monitor your progress — and that one thing is your fitness level.
Because I can guarantee that if you’re getting stronger, faster, more flexible, increasing stamina and improving recovery time… your body will surely have burned off unwanted fat and toned those muscles…
And the best way to monitor all of these elements is to incorporate bodyweight (or other) challenge-based workouts into the mix, record your results, then repeat and smash your previous best.
If you’re getting more athletic, guess what — you’re gonna look more athletic (it’s a beautiful thing).
Enough talk… take a look at the video and then I’ll break it down even more below…

Like I said in the video, make sure you keep that back flat while doing the mountain climbers and focus on using as big of a range of motion as possible when jumping your feet back and forth. You should REALLY feel it in the lower abs.
Consider doing the overhead squats (and mountain climbers, for that matter) in front of a mirror if you’re not familiar with these awesome fat burning exercises. They can be a little tricky to get the form right on, especially the overhead squats.
My total time for all 500 reps: 27 minutes and 13 seconds (not great, I’m a little out of shape right now, but that’s okay)…
Give this a shot and feel free to share your total time in the comments section below.
Expect your shoulders and lower abs to be a little sore for a few days after you complete this. ;-)
Hope you liked this simple, but effective, bodyweight 500 weight loss workout routine… stop back tomorrow for another workout video that you can follow along with and do from home. See ya then…
