Video: At Home Fat Loss Workout — Burst Bout Style… by Brad Campbell

Hey Burst Bouters,

Let’s get busy.  Here is today’s cardio-based Burst Bout session, which features exercises that can easily be done at home…

To follow suit and complete these extreme fat burning cardio exercises at home, you’ll need:

1) Gymboss Interval Timer

2) Powerblock Adjustable Dumbbells

3) Jump Rope

As shown in the video above, the workout should be carried out like so:

PART I: 10/10/10 — Mountain climbers, split squat jumps, rest… repeat bout nonstop x 5 mins

PART II: 35/15/35/15 — Jump rope, rest, dumbbell boxing, rest… repeat bout nonstop x 20 mins

So for example, in Part I, you’ll rock 10 secs of mountain climbers, transition immediately into 10 secs of split squat jumps, rest for 10 brief seconds — this is one bout/round — repeat nonstop until 5 mins is up, then progress to Part II, following the same protocol…

As you noticed during my dumbbell boxing, I like to stay on the balls of my feet and each time I throw a punch, I pick the lead foot up off the ground — this really adds to the calorie burning potential of the exercise.

And as always, if you don’t have a jump rope, or if you’re restricted by low ceilings at home, don’t sweat it — just mimic the jump roping motion, stay on your tip toes and do high knees instead.
