Hi Brad,
I'm so happy I found this site! I really love this Jessica Alba workout and am thinking about adding it into my weekly workout but I have a few questions first...I am 19 years old, 5 foot 7 inches and weigh about 165 and my body fat percent is about 37% ( I know-disgusting). But I have been working out 3 days a week doing weight training for 30 minutes and doing interval cardio (walk fast 3 minutes and sprint for 1 minute) for 25 minutes for almost a month now and have only lost 4 pounds and no body fat! I've been eating soooo healthy I have 2 hardboiled eggs on a piece of wheat toast in the morning then 2 or so hours later i have an apple or greek yogurt and bblueberries then for lunch i have a salad with one can of tuna(100 calories) some tomatoes and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese then another small snack like a protein shake or something and for dinner i have veggies with 4oz grilled chicken. Also I know weight loss is supposed to take time but it is very frustrating for me because I feel like all of this effort has been for nothing! Also i nanny for 2 kids and am running around with them all day so it's not like when i'm not working out around i'm just sitting on the couch.....could you give me some suggestions on what i should change to speed up my weight loss???? thank you!!! :-)

You really make it seem so easy along with your presentation but I to find this topic to be really something that I think I'd by no means understand. It kind of feels too complex and extremely extensive for me. I am looking ahead on your next post, I'll try to get the hang of it!

Hey Brad (sorry, this is gonna be long....)
My name's Ruth- obviously, lol. I'm 17. I found this workout a few months ago and tried it immediately- all-out, two circuits, no breaks, etc. Not the smartest idea probably - I tend to be impatient when it comes to this sort of stuff. Didn't want to take the time to *break in.* I wanted a Megan Fox body right NOW, haha. Anyway... needless to say, after attempting it a few more times, I scared myself off and avoided doing it again like the plague. But....
Here I am again, ready to do it right. I'm sick of feeling fat (guess I fall into the skinny-fat category - I weigh around 138; 5'5.5 tall ((praying I get to 5'6....)) Been trying to lose weight/fat/inches for half a year now. Not getting anywhere. I recently cut out all white products/over-processed food/sugar. I have a food intolerance to flour-y, gluten-ish stuff - yet I continued to eat it for years 'cause I craved it. I noticed immediate results when I cut them outt- but my weight was fluctuating so much, I quit weighing myself 'cause it had me beyond frustrated. I've been exercising, off-and-on for a few years now- much more consistent in the past 6 months. Not perfect though. I loathe (again, LOATHE) cardio. But I enjoy walking, (sometimes) biking, and jump roping- so I do that. I fear that I have a sluggish metabolism- a result of being way too sedentary + yo-yo dieting. I'm now eating a healthier 1,500 cal (not sure if this is too much/too little?) I want to speed up/increase my metabolism by doing high-intensity circuit training workouts like this because I read in a fitness article that it turbo-charges the rate of calorie burn/and builds muscle at the same time. Therefore, increasing metabolism.

ANYWAY (just wanted to give you the life story so you know where I'm coming from....)
I did this workout today. Just one circuit (didn't want to go all-out just yet... firstly, because I want to convince myself that I can actually do this without busting a lung, secondly, because I need to break myself in slowly...) It was surprisingly doable. When it got too hard (in between burpees and squat jumps, for instance - gosh, I hate those) I marched in place. I tried to slow down my pace just a little- focused on correct form. I plan to increase the pace/intensity over time.
My question is.... how often can I do this in a week?? You say 3 x a week, but I was brainstorming a bit and (maybe this is crazy) but I want to do a 30-day Megan Fox transformation thingy.... Is that possible? Like, do this 6 times a week? (one day off for rest) Even five days a week? I know you're supposed to give ur muscles 24 hours to recover but... ever heard of bodyrock.tv? They do workouts like this every day- working the same muscles over and over. And the results they get are great. I'm just dying to see what I can do with my body over a committed 30 day period... how much I can transform it. What kind of results I could get. Especially considering that I have just overhauled my diet. Been doing old-fashioned weight training and walking and I feel much stronger than I used to.... not as tired, etc. But I want to burn off/lose body fat and I don't want to take a year to do that... I mean, I've already committed myself to a healthier way of life but I don't want to waste my time to achieve the body I want.

With alllll that being said (seriously, sorry) can you help me out here? Can I do this every day? along with the dreaded cardio plan? =)
Thanks in advance,
Ruth

Well, it's obvious that Brad Pitt didn't believe that bullshit because he did the damn workout. Also, it's a movie, dude. You're not supposed to take it literally. Stop trying to dissuade people from not being fat asses.
