I’d say all of our workouts are tough, but today’s cardio session had to be one of the toughest I’ve created to date.  I took some of my top-producing fat loss exercises and drew up a totally LOCO workout that left me laying in a pool of my own sweat.  Excited yet?

As an added bonus, these exercises are downright nasty when it comes to torching your lower abs and core muscles.

Fat Burning Foods — “Burst Bout Turkey Burger”

Hello Burst Bouters,

So, today, I wanted to share one of my favorite staple fat burning meals with all of you.  This concoction of deliciousness is not as much a burger as it is steamed chopped turkey over salad.  My wife calls it, “Man Food.”  But I assure you my Burst Bout buddies, that this mix of protein and fibrous carbs is not only incredibly healthy, but it is absolutely awesome in terms of taste.

Here’s how I prepared it: I buy a couple of 1lb packs of Shady Brooke Farms 85% lean turkey (I usually have at least two 1lb packages in the fridge, at all times -- it’s good to be prepared!).

If you’re wondering why I don’t buy the 99% fat free version, that’s a good question and here’s my answer… I may be a body fat free Burst Bouter, but I’m not as much a fat free food kinda guy.

So today I wanted to create an effective cardio workout that you can do at home, without any equipment, and that's slightly lower impact.  Although we'll be using some bodyweight exercises, it'll still give your muscles a little break, along with your nervous system.  Plus, it's easier on the joints, as compared to some of our more explosive fat burning exercises we like to use...

I was just watching an episode of the Kardashians last night, the one where Kim and Kourtney are in New York (okay, don’t judge me, I like lame TV sometimes). Anyway, Kim was turning 30 and man you would have thought the world was coming to an end.

weight loss tips for women over 30I liked when her sister said it was like she thought she would turn into an evil troll at the stroke of midnight.  Here’s the thing about that, 30 is not all bad.

In fact, 30 is pretty awesome... I recently turned 31 a little over a month ago and from age 30 until now I can tell you that I’m in the best shape of my life.  I’m more focused and I’ve developed the ultimate system to fight off the evil signs of aging.

It’s actually not that hard.  I’m not looking to lose weight really, it’s more about losing the right kind of weight which is of course fat.  So here are my ultimate weight and fat loss tips for women over 30...

1. Eat, eat, eat: Boost your metabolism with 5-6 small meals per day.  Include lots of protein, veggies, fruit, nuts and some whole grains (limit these to the days that you’re training... more on this later).

2. Sleep: I get 7-8 hours of sleep per night and that’s perfect for me.  I mean, I could sleep more but the idea is to go to sleep and then wake up about the same time every day.  Getting great sleep helps to recover those tired muscles and is also amazing for your skin.

We've got another great week of rapid fat burning planned for ya.  Here's what this week's workout schedule will look like:

SATURDAY 2/26: Burst Bout Cardio Workout

SUNDAY 2/27: Rest -- no workout scheduled

Remember... you can follow along daily, or you can also switch days to accommodate your diet plan -- for example, maybe you're doing a cheat day on Saturday and a fast day on Sunday...  in this case, I'd recommend 'shifting' the days so that you'd be doing one of our strength training workouts on the cheat day and a cardio workout on your fast day...
